斗彩又称逗彩,创烧于明成化时期,是釉下彩(青花)与釉上彩结合的装饰品种。斗彩要预先在高温(1300°C)烧成的釉下青花瓷器上,用矿物颜料进行二次施彩,填补青花图案留下的空白并涂染青花轮廓线内的空间,然后再入小窑经低温(800°C)烘烤而成。
千百年来,鸳鸯,尤其是鸳鸯戏水的诗意图景,一直是夫妻和睦相处、相亲相爱的美好象征,也是爱情坚贞与纯洁的生动写照。此器造型美观大方而规整。其绘画精致,纹饰构图严谨,以多层带状辅纹衬托主题花纹,各层花纹间以青花双圈线相隔,装饰饱满但主次分明。外壁一周以斗彩饰鸳鸯戏水莲瓣图案,盘内有莲荷形暗刻。底写篆书款“大明万历年制”。皆因艺匠在此要求甚严,精致出尘的皇帝面前,只能力求尽善尽美,鞠躬尽瘁。此器造型俊美,胎质细致,釉色淡雅,画笔清秀流畅,寓意喜庆吉祥,动以新意,备储精巧,妙不可言,为大明万历年制御制瓷器中之精品。
